BIG TEETH PERFORMANCE COLLECTIVE

Founded in southern Vermont in 2017, Big Teeth makes funny shows about sad things by way of our favorite medium, the body. Through physical theater, acrobatics, and an existential dose of humor, our work seeks to climb/spin/throw/balance/swing our feelings at the stage in an attempt to answer a few of life’s pressing questions: What do our monsters have to say? Would you pay to watch a cicada strip? How funny is the end of the world, really? In confronting these queries, our collective past and present performs cordelisse, hand-balancing, juggling, partner acrobatics, clown, burlesque, and several kinds of trapeze.

Our first show, Ordinary Creatures, completed three regional tours from 2018-2020 along the US East Coast.  Our second show, Goodbye Party, toured the Northeastern US and MidAtlantic, including the Providence Fringe Festival, Hup! State, and the Cannonball Festival 2023-2024.
